{Project Description}
We are exploring the unique capabilities of Kirigami—the Japanese art of paper cutting—to represent data physically. This technique takes advantage of the tactile qualities of paper-cutting to introduce new data variables and tangible interactions. Paper is an accessible medium, and the versatility of this technique supports different scales, interactions, and functions, making it an excellent method for physicalizing data.
